CHARLOTTE, N.C. _ Michael Finley scored 22 points Wednesday night as the Dallas Mavericks snapped their three-game losing streak with an 89-78 victory over the injury-depleted Charlotte Hornets.

Dirk Nowitzki added 17 points and Juwan Howard added 16 off the bench for the Mavericks, who beat the Hornets for the fifth straight time.
