During Wednesday's loss at Philadelphia, fans yelled "Psycho!" in Barry's direction. If he's crazy, he's crazy like a fox.

Barry gets that designation from being a high-effort, high-energy player who knows the game. And if Jerry Stackhouse's strained groin isn't ready to go tonight, Barry will likely get the call against Atlanta, where Barry has a summer home and where he played at Georgia Tech.

Stackhouse got treatment today, and the team will determine today whether he can play.

Carlisle and team president Joe Dumars knew they were getting someone a little different when they traded popular Mateen Cleaves to Sacramento for Barry and a first-round draft pick, but there have been some bonuses with the unflappable shooting guard.

"Jon's a very knowledgeable player," Carlisle said. "He's a little crazy, but we thought we might need guys a little different to turn this team around."
