Though his protests of calls he didn't believe the Rockets were getting did spark a comeback, Tomjanovich could not prevent a 99-81 loss to the Seattle SuperSonics on Friday night. It was well on the way when Tomjanovich was on his way out.
"I saw some obvious things out there," Tomjanovich said, carefully choosing the words he left out. "I'm not going to make any (additional) comments. I made a commentary (on the court). I didn't get my money's worth, because I don't think they heard."
With 4:49 left in the third quarter, Tomjanovich was ejected, joining injured starters Steve Francis and Kenny Thomas as unavailable to the cause.
