MIAMI - The Celtics continue to have confidence in Kenny Anderson. That's not the question, according to coach Jim O'Brien.

The issue resides more within the point guard, who has struggled of late. The 31-year-old Anderson has made just 3-of-17 shots in the last two games, and after coming out of Saturday's overtime loss to the Wizards in Washington with 7:27 to go in the third quarter, he never got back on the court.

``That was very hard,'' Anderson said. ``But Milt (Palacio) was playing well and we were trying to get a win. It was the first game of the season that (O'Brien) used me that way.''
