Kevin Johnson has been out of the limelight lately but the former Phoenix Suns star is still creating wins.  The Sacramento Bee reports that Johnson has turned his focus to an inner city charter school project called St. Hope.  KJ is now spending more than 80% of his time in Sacramento even though Jerry Colangelo, an owner of the Suns and baseball's world champion Arizona Diamondbacks, credits Johnson for just about everything good in Phoenix but the weather and the golf.

Johnson still thinks he could play in the NBA and he voluntarily gave up his NBC analyst job to devote himself to this project. "This is my vocation and my calling. I was raised with the responsibility to give back to those less fortunate," he said.
