Michael Finley speculates that there wouldn't be so much talk about a Juwan Howard-Karl Malone swap if there wasn't some truth behind it, according to Marc Stein of the Dallas Morning News.  At the same time, it isn't so serious that Cuban has asked Finley about it, which he says is his policy.  In the end, Howard has Finley in his corner, though Finley wouldn't say he'd ask Cuban to nix a deal for Malone.
