Michael Jordan visited former Chicago Bulls physician John Hefferon to examine his right knee.

"Jordan is undergoing an MRI on his knees as a precautionary measure and possibly will have his right knee drained if they find a lot of fluid on it," reported Lacy Banks of Chicago Sun-Times. "That's the same knee that bothered him during the preseason, and he had it drained by Hefferon earlier this season. If they have to drain the knee and they find lots of inflammation or some other problem, they'll probably put him on the injured list."

If Michael Jordan goes to Injury list, thousands of fans will be disapointed who have bought tickets to watch him playing. When Jordan announce his comeback, coach Doug Collins was among those who voiced concerns about his ability to play a 82-game season.

"If I have to chain him down, I [will] get his minutes down," Collins said. "He doesn't want to come out, but if his minutes stay 40 or over, we'll never be able to get him through the season."

"I've been very lucky because we haven't played many back-to-back games," Collins said. "I've got to get Michael's minutes down to 34, 35 a game."

Jordan is averaging 24.8 points and shooting 40.3 percent from the field for the 5-11 Wizards.Jordan has played every game this season, averaging 38.3 minutes. He has played at least 40 minutes seven times, including five of his last six games.
