A journeyman backup point guard doesn't get many chances to make game-winning shots in the NBA.
Especially when he plays behind a sure Hall of Famer and has played with the likes of Karl Malone, Grant Hill and Gary Payton, to name a few.
That's why John Crotty was more than a little pumped-up after his three-pointer with 3.2 seconds left clinched a 104-100 Utah Jazz win Tuesday night over the Charlotte Hornets at the Delta Center.
"It felt good," said Crotty. "It felt real good."
Asked how many game-winners he'd made in the NBA, Crotty said, "Not many. It was a lot of fun. I'm going to enjoy it tonight and look forward to the next time I get to do it."
