Things just went from bad to worse for the Grizzlies.  Bryant Reeves, the $11.5 Million Man, hasn't played a single second this season.  Now they're going to be without the player the Memphis Commercial-Appeal's Marlon Morgantheir calls "their workhorse, their warrior, their team leader."

Lorenzen Wright will be out for at least the next month with a crack behind his left knee.  In more technical terms, a magnetic resonance imaging exam showed a non-displaced fracture of the lateral tibial plateau located just below the knee.

The Grizz are sitting at a woeful 4 wins and 14 losses.  There won't be many more wins between now and when Wright returns, as they'll be forced to play with nothing better than third-string centers the next month.

In last night's 105-80 loss to Minnesota, rookies Pau Gasol and Shane Battier had exactly half the team's 42 rebounds.

Shooting guard Michael Dickerson remains injured, and cast-off Rodney Buford has been picked up and thrust into starter's minutes.

The Grizz owe Detroit their first round draft pick in June, but it's top-five protected.  Pistons fans better start looking to get that extra lottery pick in 2003.
