A four-game winning streak has allowed the Jazz to hold their heads a little higher, but they"re still in no position to brag.

They haven"t yet worked their way back to. 500, and if the playoffs started today they"d be on the outside looking in.

And another tough game awaits them tonight at the Delta Center.

""We"ve got to keep playing every day because we"re in a huge hole," coach Jerry Sloan said. ""If you looked today and we had to go to the playoffs, I don"t think we"d be in very good shape.

""We"re still one game below .500. . . . You have to keep moving up the ladder as much as you can. Time will tell whether we want to play bad enough to get the job done."

Sloan, however, feels like the Jazz are getting there. Turnovers are down, teamwork is way up, and the players are beginning to show on the court that they believe in each other.
