ATLANTA -- For one quarter, at least, they got it right.
The Indiana Pacers nearly cost themselves another game Tuesday with a tepid defensive effort. But they regrouped for about seven minutes of solid play to extract a 103-100 victory over Atlanta at Philips Arena.
The Hawks hit just two of their final 13 field-goal attempts after taking a 12-point lead with 6:56 left, and managed just two points after Nazr Mohammed's layup with 4:19 remaining.
They hit 6-of-21 shots overall in the period.
