Magic notes: Orlando enters tonight's game riding a three-game losing streak. Orlando lost 89-82 Wednesday night to the Indiana Pacers. Orlando was outrebounded 51-35 by the smallish Pacers. Indiana got 15 second-chance points off its 17 offensive rebounds. . . . Orlando led the NBA in scoring most of the season but has fallen to fifth after three bad shooting nights. The Magic have scored 75, 80 and 82 points in the past three games. They have shot less than 40 percent in all three games as well. . . . Tracy McGrady returned to the Magic lineup after missing three games with a strained lower back. He hit 11 of 19 shots and poured in a game-high 31 points. . . . Mike Miller had a horrendous shooting night against the Pacers, missing 12 of his 15 shots. He's shooting just 40.9 percent in his past four games.
Pistons notes: After becoming one of the NBA's biggest surprise teams early this season Detroit has fallen on hard times of late. The Pistons lost all five games on their West Coast swing. They were hammered 117-89 Saturday night in Seattle. . . . Former Magic center Ben Wallace continues to shine in Detroit. He is seventh in the NBA in rebounding (11 rebounds a game) and is first in blocked shots (3.2 blocks a game). Wallace has had 18 games with 10 or more rebounds. . . . Orlando native and former Magic guard Chucky Atkins is playing well off the bench for the Pistons. He is averaging 11.3 points a game while shooting 50 percent from the floor. . . . Detroit defeated Orlando 105-100 on Nov. 26 in Orlando. Cliff Robinson made up for the loss of Jerry Stackhouse (groin injury) with 30 points and 10 rebounds.
