For most of his NBA career, Jonathan Bender jumped out and made a spectacle of himself, for better or worse. Then he would disappear again.

Now it appears Bender is here to stay. The 20-year-old swingman has averaged 23 minutes over the past six games, including a career-high 34 in Monday's loss to Miami, and appears headed for more playing time.
