It pays to be aware upon entering the Kings' locker room before a game.

Before the Kings' 105-91 home win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night, there was rookie first-round draft choice Gerald Wallace walking around with a rubber glove on his right hand.

"Yo, Mike," Wallace said approaching guard Mike Bibby, who was sitting in front of his locker. "I'm working on my doctor's degree and I need to examine you."

Bibby quickly moved away from his locker and from Wallace, for that matter, but not without questioning the rookie's true motive.

Bibby later became involved in a more conventional conversation when his ability to dunk was questioned.
