It was awfully chilly in Philips Arena on Saturday night. A snowstorm froze the city earlier in the week. Then Minnesota blew through town, eventually blowing out the Hawks 112-96.
In a decidedly ugly game in front of a decidely sparse crowd, Minnesota won its fourth straight game -- in a more difficult fashion than it should have -- because it outrebounded Atlanta 56-34, outscored the Hawks 23-15 from the free-throw line and held Atlanta sharpshooter Jason Terry without a field goal for the final 15 minutes of the game.

Saturday's game also marked Minnesota coach Flip Saunders' 250th NBA victory. He is one of only four active coaches to reach that total with his current team.
