TRAIL BLAZERS UPDATE: Portland is loaded with high-priced talent, but it can't seem to get its act together despite beating Miami on Thursday night. The Blazers also are deep with Derek Anderson and Steve Kerr off the bench in the backcourt. They have Shawn Kemp as a reserve in the frontcourt.

MAGIC UPDATE: The Magic are feeling good again about themselves and getting comfortable with the team they have, even though they aren't the team they expected to be at the start of the season. They have won four consecutive games and six of their past seven. The decision to move 3-point shooter Garrity into the starting lineup has helped loosen up defenses. His shooting has offset his lack of rebounding muscle.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR: The Blazers are good enough to blow out anyone from the Eastern Conference, yet they have struggled on this trip and may be ready to go home. Grant and Garrity have to pull the Portland big guys away from the basket with some outside shooting. The Magic also need Armstrong to contain Stoudamire, because if he drives past, they don't have any shot blockers on the court.
