Lon Kruger and his Atlanta Hawks have seen just about enough of Hakeem Olajuwon for one season.
Lenny Wilkens and his Raptors, on the other hand, are hoping they've just begun to see what the veteran centre can do for them over the final months of the season.
In only his third game back after missing nine contests with a badly infected baby toe on his left foot, Olajuwon tied his season high with 16 points ? which, coincidentally, came against the Hawks back on Dec. 1 ? and hauled in 11 rebounds to help the Raptors to a 94-91 overtime victory over Kruger's crew last night at the Air Canada Centre.
"When I was out and watching the team, it was a tremendous opportunity for me to see how I could play my game and make a difference," Olajuwon said in the wake of his third double-double of the season. "I think I feel much more comfortable this time around."
