Both the Orlando Magic and the San Antonio Spurs are ailing coming into their game this afternoon, and it's not as if Horace Grant's intestinal virus has spread.

Although the Magic moved back above .500 Friday night with an 85-83 win at Detroit, they shot only 37.3 percent from the floor and were held below 100 points for the fourth game in a row. That trend is likely to continue against the Spurs, who rank fourth in the NBA in points allowed and sixth in opponents' field-goal percentage.

But the Spurs have also been anemic of late, being held to 87 points or less during their current three-game losing streak.

"We haven't been able to buy a shot the last month," forward Malik Rose said Friday night after an 88-83 loss at Miami. "But things balance out. And when this balances out, look out."

The Magic were out of balance in their only other meeting with the Spurs this season Nov. 6 at San Antonio. They were held to 34.8-percent shooting as the Spurs cruised to a 104-89 victory behind Tim Duncan's 26 points and 14 rebounds.

Grant, who has missed the Magic's last two games, is listed as questionable. If he can't go, Don Reid and Andrew DeClercq will take turns trying to contain Duncan, who was voted as one of the starting forwards for the Western Conference in next week's All-Star Game.

DeClercq had fallen out of coach Doc Rivers' rotation at center until Grant became ill. Against the Pistons, he posted season highs in points (12) and rebounds (8) and forced Jerry Stackhouse into a bad 3-pointer as time expired by chasing him to the corner.
