Portland's Rasheed Wallace was ejected for the first time this season with 5:29 left in the third quarter of the Jazz's 97-96 win Saturday at the Delta Center.

Wallace chased a loose ball into the stands near the press table. Upset because he thought he was fouled by Karl Malone, Wallace took a swing at a TV monitor sitting in front of Salt Lake Tribune reporter Steve Luhm, who was seated in the third row on the aisle.

Wallace's hand grazed the side of Luhm's head and knocked off his glasses. Luhm was not injured, but the TV monitor was damaged.
