The Warriors have a record of 182 - 406 in the past eight seasons.  The common thread is owner Chris Cohan, who Antawn Jamison describes as "He wants to win more than we do."  But a feature article by Mark Fainaru-Wada in the San Francisco Chronicle paints a very different picture.

For starters, the organization is described by its critics as everything from "deadbeat" to "paranoid," all within a toxic work atmosphere.  Then there's the legal battles.  More than a third of the people talked to for this fascinating feature refused to be interviewed for fear of being sued.

Cohan has six law suits on the go right now.  In the past five years, Cohan has taken to court his stockbroker, life insurance representative and main attorney -- all three longtime friends, two of whom were in his wedding.

It's a long article, but if you like good old-fashioned muckraking journalism it's a must.  Fainaru-Wada even holds out hope for a better future.
