Karl Malone has caught up with his Utah Jazz teammates after a whirlwind tour the past week.

After the Jazz fell 86-79 to the host Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday, the veteran forward spent Thursday in his hometown of Summerfield, La., to be with his mother, who had been ill for several weeks with an undisclosed ailment.
