SO ANOTHER round of all-star games is over.

There were any of a number of high points ? take your pick from Bryant's controlled cool, Tracy McGrady's flip off the backboard and dunk-down, Stevie Nash finding Gary Payton with a behind-the-back pass, Kevin Garnett schooling Michael Jordan ? and of course, some pratfalls. Jordan's blown dunk, Philly's booing customers and Chris Webber's chrome shoes started off the latter list here.

And as usual, none of it will be easy to recall. It's a nice little treat, the All-Star Game, but everything about it is manufactured and lasts as long as a chocolate chip cookie.

And from that looking back, Chris Young of the Toronto Star looks forward armed with one of those checklists. No, it's not the kind that Jordan talked about later, the one that all of us mortals have to go through every morning when we get up and make sure all the parts are still there (and hey, welcome to the club, MJ).
