Welcome to Lenny Wilkens' dilemma: His shooters can't shoot and he's got precious little to fall back on and it's all adding up to a rather ugly start to the drive to the post-season.

And until some of the 47 points per game that are languishing on the sidelines get themselves back into the lineup, the storm the Toronto Raptors need to weather will continue to engulf them.

With the starting backcourt and most reliable veteran shooting the team into a horrendous hole last night, the Raptors suffered their second straight loss of the post-all-star period, dropping an 89-82 decision to a New York Knicks team that tried mightily to collapse like a piece of cheap lawn furniture.
