Thursday, February 14, 2002 - A week remains before the NBA trade deadline. And for Denver Nuggets point guard Nick Van Exel, that means the clock is ticking on his hopes of being traded.

Nuggets general manager Kiki Vandeweghe said Wednesday no deal was on the table. Van Exel's agent, Tony Dutt, has said the best chance for a deal likely will be just before the deadline.

"It would be just the greatest feeling," Van Exel said of being traded, ending almost two weeks of silence on the subject.
