Just before the NBA's 4 p.m. Thursday trade deadline, the Nuggets sent disgruntled point guard Nick Van Exel, forward-center Raef LaFrentz, swingman Tariq Abdul-Wahad and point guard Avery Johnson to the Dallas Mavericks forforward-center Juwan Howard, point guard Tim Hardaway and forward Donnell Harvey.
