OAKLAND -- Jermaine O'Neal's bloody lower lip was the perfect logo for the Indiana Pacers' 102-97 overtime victory over Golden State Monday.
"It was ugly," O'Neal said, soaking his left ankle in a bucket of ice. "Real ugly."
Sometimes beauty can be found amid rubble, however, and that's what happened for the Pacers in the Arena in Oakland.
They shot a season-low 32.9 percent from the field. They had 19 turnovers. They blew opportunities to win the game in regulation. And they needed every bit of the Warriors astounding collapse in the fourth quarter.
