PHOENIX -- Some numbers jumping out from the box score of the Indiana Pacers' 102-97 overtime victory over Golden State on Monday were cause for dismay.
The Pacers hit a season-low 32.9 percent of their field-goal attempts. They committed 19 turnovers, some at crucial times late in the game. They were outscored on fast breaks and in the lane.
Coach Isiah Thomas had other priorities, however.
"This is the most important number for us," Thomas said, pointing to a stat sheet that showed 35.3 percent shooting for Golden State.
