Raptors guard Alvin Williams was excused from practice yesterday because of personal reasons. Williams had to fly home to Philadelphia, but as of yesterday afternoon was expected to be back for the Raptors' home game tonight against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Williams might not have been able to practise much anyway because of a sore back.

Guard Dell Curry did not practise yesterday because of a sore right ankle. Curry, who did not play in the Raptors game against the Orlando Magic on Wednesday, is listed as day to day.
