Tim Duncan made his first nine shots and scored 21 points, but it was the late contributions of Antonio Daniels (19 points) and Malik Rose (18 points) that helped push the Spurs past the Nuggets 93-78 at the Pepsi Center for their sixth consecutive victory.

Denver, which rallied from an 18-point third-quarter deficit to end Portland's 12-game winning streak on Saturday, put itself in position to stop the Spurs' run of success after whittling down their 14-point lead to five with 2:05 left in the third quarter. That prompted Coach Gregg Popovich to turn to his reserves, and Rose, Daniels, Terry Porter and Danny Ferry responded by scoring the Spurs' next 19 points to secure the win.
