Two point output, two broken records.

Last night?s drumming of the Wizards by the Los Angeles Lakers was certainly one to forget for Michael Jordan.  With the game already decided by half time, Jordan only played 12 minutes in the contest recording two points on 1-for-5 shooting.  Both the minutes and the points output were career lows.

Jordan, still on the mend from his recent knee surgery, was sat out of the game via the decision of coach Doug Collins, vowing he felt physically fine.

"I talked to Michael at halftime and said, 'Let's see how the third quarter goes. If it looks like we're back into it we'll play. If not then, we've got to get ready for the rest of the week,'" coach Doug Collins said. "He was in complete agreement with that."

Said Jordan: "I felt good. It was just Doug's decision to make sure that I don't overdo it and get ready for a tougher battle tomorrow. It seems like this game was out of control, but physically I felt fine."

Jordan?s previous point production low was six points set earlier this year against the Indiana Pacers, while his career low in minutes was 13, logged against the Milwaukee Bucks ? who he will face tonight - on March 15, 1986.
