It's the kind of glaring statistic that leaps off the page of a boxscore, the sort of disparity that makes one wonder how on earth the game ended up close.

The Kings nearly doubled the Jazz board total, underscoring the fact that if not for a little harder work on the glass, the Jazz might have won the game they lost, 90-87, Saturday at the Delta Center.
     
And it wasn't by accident. The Jazz had outrebounded the Kings in each of the first two games, a fact at least partly responsible for Utah's surprisingly strong showing and a 1-1 series tie.
