AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Despite not having homecourt advantage, the Raptors felt they had one advantage in their best-of-five playoff series against the Detroit Pistons.
Having won a post-season series and featuring a lineup dotted with playoff-hardened players, the Raptors felt their experience would serve them well against the Pistons, a team short on playoff history.
Outside of Cliff Robinson, the Pistons don't have any player who has distinguished himself in the post-season or played in meaningful games.
"You draw upon experience and the knowledge that you have been in this position before and that you have succeeded,'' Raptors coach Lenny Wilkens said prior to last night's decisive Game 5.
