With the Charlotte Hornets down 2-1 to the New Jersey Nets and facing what possibly could be their last game in Charlotte, the team received some bad news yesterday.  Already missing leading scorer Jamal Masburn to illness the Hornets received the news that starting center Elden Campbell will not be practicing yesterday after suffering from flu-like symptoms.  Charlotte has listed Campbell as questionable for Game 4, although a trainer told coach Paul Silas that it was a 24 hour bug and Silas is now expecting that Campbell will play.

The Hornets also feel the same way on Nets superstar Jason Kidd, who is questionable due to swelling on his eye as a result of the Game 3 collision between himself and David Wesley.

"Jason's a warrior and there's no way he's going to let a couple of stitches keep him out of this series," P. J. Brown said. "Our luck is not that good, so we expect to see him out there and ready to go, even if he's got two big black eyes."

"Unless the thing is completely shut, he's going to play. So this probable thing, I don't put any stock in that. I let my guys know straight up that he will play," said Silas.
