The Associated Press reports that Vince Carter's annual charity game will be August 2 in Toronto.

That date will mark Carter's return to action.  Says Carter, "I'm planning to play in the charity game.  That's my date to actually go out and compete again. It's definitely my date to go out and be a player again."

Carter had arthroscopic surgery to his knee on March 26.
