Michael Jordan has decided against precautionary surgery on his left knee. Back in February, he had surgery on his right knee to repair torn cartilage and clean out soem debris. At that time, he was considering the precautionary procedure on his left knee to reduce the chances of a similar problem occuring if he decides to play next season.
"He will not have the left knee surgery," the source, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told The Associated Press.
The source also said Jordan had yet to resume offseason workouts, and that the decision not to have surgery does not mean he has decided whether he will play again. Jordan is expected to take most of the summer to make up his mind, as he did last year.
Michael's representatives have stated that he has not made a decision as to whether he will play next season or not, and tha he has no timetable for making such an announcement.
