Despite his fervent denial, former Utah Jazz center Olden Polynice was found guilty Wednesday of assaulting Tyler Swenson on the Old Mill Golf course.

The four-person jury deliberated for nearly 1 1/2 hours at the end of the two-day trial and returned the verdict in the courtroom of Holladay Justice Court Judge Daniel B. Gibbons.

"This is the worst," a shocked Polynice said. "I have rights. I hope I have rights."
