Phil Johnson, a Jazz assistant coach since 1988, will interview for the Nuggets' vacant head coaching job Tuesday in Denver.
Johnson, 60, will discuss the job with Nuggets general manager Kiki Vandeweghe, who has already interviewed at least three other candidates for the post held by Mike Evans last season.
Mavericks assistant Donn Nelson met with Vandeweghe Friday, and Nets assistant coach Eddie Jordan is expected to be interviewed soon. Former NBA stars Alex English and Clyde Drexler also interviewed last month.
