The Utah Jazz signed first-round draft pick Curtis Borchardt to a three-year contract Friday.
Borchardt, a 7-foot center from Stanford, was taken by Orlando with the 18th overall selection, then traded on draft night for Utah"s first-round choice, Notre Dame forward Ryan Humprey, along with a second-round pick.
Under terms of the NBA"s collective bargaining agreement, Borchardt will receive $928,100 next season and $2.99 million over three seasons. The contract includes a team option for a fourth year at $1.64 million.
