He's one of the biggest players on the Jazz roster, yet progress has come in small steps for Jarron Collins.
As a second-round draft pick last year with no guarantees, Collins was happy just to make the team, even if it meant starting the season on the injured list.
The next step was making the active roster, so he could at least go through pre-game warmups, if not actually play in a game.
"When I was sitting on the injured list at the beginning of last year, my biggest thing was just to get out there," Collins said. "First I wanted to go out and warm up, and then I wanted to get on the court."
