The Utah Jazz will spend most of their preseason on the road, playing only two of eight games at the Delta Center in keeping with their traditional October pattern.
   
The Jazz open their preseason schedule Oct. 6, when they play the Seattle Sonics in John Stockton's home town of Spokane, Wash. Utah then travels to Portland on Oct. 8, playing the Trail Blazers in the Rose Garden, before ending the three-game West Coast swing with a stop in Reno, Nev., on Oct. 10 against the Sacramento Kings.
