The longtime voice of the Utah Jazz, Rodney "Hot Rod" Hundley has been charged with class B misdemeanor DUI after allegedly failing three sobriety tests during a traffic stop last weekend.

Salt Lake County sheriff's deputies pulled Hundley over just before midnight Friday during a DUI saturation patrol near 5600 South and Wasatch Boulevard, said Sgt. Shane Hudson. Hundley was speeding in a 1999 Mercedes 320, and had failed to dim his high beams for oncoming traffic, Hudson said.

"They could smell alcohol," Hudson said.
