Andrei Kirilenko started on forward Glenn Robinson, ended up on point guard Jason Terry and helped finish the Atlanta Hawks.

That was the long and the short of it Friday night at the Delta Center.

Along with a huge night by Karl Malone, Kirilenko's defense on Robinson and Terry helped the Jazz score a 110-97 victory.

Kirilenko opened defensively on Robinson, the Hawks' leading scorer who entered the game averaging 26.4 points. Robinson finished with 16 points, but he missed 13 of his 19 field-goal attempts and did not score in the first 6:55.
