Call it what you might: Doghouse. Outhouse. House of Blues.

Greg Ostertag has been there often. Scott Padgett paid a few visits, too.

Now, it is DeShawn Stevenson's turn.

The Jazz's starting shooting guard for the first seven games of the 2002-2003 NBA season, Stevenson isn't even in coach Jerry Sloan's regular rotation anymore. He has opened the last eight games on the bench and hasn't logged more than two minutes in any of the last five ? three of which he didn't even play in.

"I don't think I'm (ever) going to get out of the doghouse," Stevenson said Wednesday, prior to the Jazz's final off-day practice before tonight's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

There are ways out, as a couple of Stevenson's teammates will attest.

But before Ostertag and Padgett offer advice on great escape routes, let's examine Stevenson's path from main dining room to naughty kids' table.
