Jason Richardson's 360-degree spin dunk was spectacular. Jamal Tinsley's between-the-legs dribble and drive was incredible. But the play that really impressed sophomore-team coach Mike Fratello on Saturday -- though it probably didn't show up on the "SportsCenter" highlights -- was made by Andrei Kirilenko six minutes into the second half of the Rookie Challenge:
Kirilenko dove for a loose ball.
"That's the kind of play we should be rewarding," Fratello said after the sophomores rallied for a 132-112 victory in Philips Arena. "It comes down to, do you want to win the game? If you do, you have to play basketball the way it's meant to be played."
