They seem to get closer to that elusive playoff berth by the day, but are the New York Knicks good enough?  Not an easy question to answer, even when your head coach is asking himself the very same question.

Marc Berman of the New York Post writes that without power foward Antonio McDyess healthy, Don Cheaney admitted that perhaps his Knicks are simply not good enough.

"I have no complaints with guys not being focused or not playing hard," said Chaney. "They're doing their best to win and sometimes your best simply isn't good enough."

The Knicks players though, led by Latrell Sprewell and Allan Houston, certainly are not throwing in the towel.

"When guys get in here, I know they're on the same page," Chaney said.
