Jerry Sloan turned 61 on Friday.

Asked for his fondest birthday wish, it probably would have been exactly what he got ? a 103-90 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks at the Delta Center.

It was his team's sixth straight win ? their longest win streak since back in November, when another string of six straight victories ended with a loss to ? you guessed it ? the Spurs, tonight's opponent in San Antonio.

After Friday's win, Sloan and his players were asked more questions about the Spurs than about the Bucks, who provided little more than a tuneup for the more intriguing matchup tonight. The Spurs, after all, have beaten the Jazz 11 straight times, and if the playoffs had started Friday, San Antonio and Utah would be first-round opponents.
