Greg Sandoval of the Washington Post reports: Georgetown junior forward Mike Sweetney will declare for the NBA Draft but won't hire an agent so that he can maintain the option of returning to school.

"I met with Mike and his parents yesterday," Georgetown coach Craig Esherick said in a statement. "We discussed Mike's future and agreed on a prudent course for determining Mike's professional value."

Sweetney, who averaged 23 points and 10 boards this season is projected to go as high as the bottom of the lottery if he declares and stays in the draft.
