Jerry Brewer of the Orlando Sentinel reports: Drew Gooden might return to the Magic for their Monday night game at Atlanta.

On Saturday, Gooden, who has missed the past three games with a right big toe injury, told head coach Doc Rivers that he was feeling better.

The Magic want him to have game action before the playoffs start so, he can get his conditioning and timing back up to par. his post presence will be critical to Orlando hopes of advancing past the first round.

Since being traded from Memphis a day before the trading deadline, Gooden has played in 17 games for the Magic and has averaged 13.6 points and 8.4 rebounds.
