Coach of the Year
Chief criterion here has to be what a coach's team did compared to what was expected of them. But there should be two additional conditions: 1. The team has to make the playoffs. After all, what does it mean to "turn around" a team from a horrible non-playoff team to a mediocre non-playoff team? 2. It can't be a rookie coach. Too often, a team "turns around" merely because players are so relieved to see one coach go that they play better for the next guy. And then, the next season, they show virtually no improvement.
