The constant tick of the clock, like the drip of an annoying leaky faucet, revealed most of what needed to be known, and a lot that didn't, about Saturday night's Game 1 of the Jazz-Kings first-round playoff series in Sacramento's Arco Arena. Everybody came, everybody saw, everybody cheered, everybody left. I, however, took detailed notes. By the way, when the clock landed on 00:00 at the back end of the fourth quarter, the Kings conquered.

Final score: 96-90.

Here, then, drip by drip and blow by blow, is an equally annoying rundown/recap of what potentially could be, if nothing else, the beginning of the last few ticks with the Jazz still intact, at least as we know them . . .
